The latest Nicolas Meier World Group album "Elysian Drift" was released recently. We recorded the album earlier in 2026 and it's received some fantastic reviews including 4* and album of the week from Jazzwise Magazine. It's always a joy working with Nicolas and the team of musicians involved. We've had a great series of concerts since the release, including an album launch at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. You can find the album on all the usual streaming platforms. A coupled of pictures below of our album launch and a clip of one of the songs. Hope to see you at a gig!
Some pictures of the "Wonderful Life' tour with Tom Odell which took place during Oct/Nov/Dec 2025. It was an amazing tour and incredible to play some iconic venues like the O2 in London. Credit to Ciara McMullan for the brilliant pics.
Tom Odell has released his new album "A Wonderfull Life", for which I recorded the strings. This was a really interesting project to be a part of as much of the composition of the string parts was done in the studio together with Tom. Through improvisation and sharing motifs and musical ideas, we wove the strings through the songs, sometimes creating warm and thick textures and other times, simple, single violin melodies. Although an intense process, it was great to have the time to fully explore what we could create and incorporate into the songs. I'm grateful to Tom for inviting me to be a part of what is a really interesting album! You can listen to the album on all major streaming sites including Spotify.
