Tom Odell has released his new album "A Wonderfull Life", for which I recorded the strings. This was a really interesting project to be a part of as much of the composition of the string parts was done in the studio together with Tom. Through improvisation and sharing motifs and musical ideas, we wove the strings through the songs, sometimes creating warm and thick textures and other times, simple, single violin melodies. Although an intense process, it was great to have the time to fully explore what we could create and incorporate into the songs. I'm grateful to Tom for inviting me to be a part of what is a really interesting album! You can listen to the album on all major streaming sites including Spotify.
It's a pleasure to be working again with Tom Odell this year. The Spring started with an amazing support tour with Billie Eilish, playing arenas across Europe. These shows have been huge and it's been awesome to see Billies show and perform in such iconic venues. Below are a few pictures captured by Ciara Mcmullan.
