Happy New Year to you all - a bit late I know but better late than never!
I'm looking forward to all of the music making that 2020 will be bringing, including bringing much of my own music to life I hope! I am finishing writing a number of pieces which I then intend to make an album with in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled!

I also have a number of concerts with bands over the coming months, so do check out my live page for info on those.
After a wonderful set of gigs in South France in September last year with Gabrielle Ducomble, we received a fantastic video of our set it Nimes which you can watch below.

I hope to see / hear from you over the coming year and I hope you have a fantastic year whatever you spend it doing!

It's been a busy Autumn of gigs, including a UK tour supporting the release of Nicolas Meier's new album "Peaceful". I also had a great time playing at the London Jazz Festival in November. Keep an eye out for more gigs on my social media pages and gigs page! A few pics below from a couple of the concerts.

I'm often getting asked about my violin bow at gigs / online from youtube and instagram. I'm so used to the bow now I forget that it is actually quite different looking to the standard bow.For those interested in it, It's a Carbon Fibre stick with synthetic hair, weighing much less than a traditional wood bow. The company is called 'Incredibow'.

In all honesty, I bought it as a back up and for doing outdoor festival gigs, but after playing with it for a while, I converted to using it all the time. I find it great for getting around the instrument and particularly for playing jazz. I have also never broken a single hair on it in over 3 years which is amazing compared to how many rehairs I used to have to get on my traditional bow!

You can check out the company here www.incredibow.com
I'd highly recommend having a go and at around $100, it's well worth a try! Thanks for reading and if you have any more questions, drop me a message!
